About me

Anne DeCusatis is currently employed as a Software Engineer at Meetup.

She graduated early from the State University of New York at New Paltz (New Paltz, NY) in December 2014 with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and minor in Mathematics. She had a final GPA of 4.00 and was named as New Paltz's Outstanding Graduate for Computer Science of August/December 2014.

In the past, she has also received awards such as recognition on the Dean's List, the Xerox Scholarship for Innovation and Information Technology and a National Merit Scholarship.

At college, Anne was a member of several clubs, most notably the Women in Science and Engineering of New Paltz and the Mid-Hudson IEEE. She also volunteers at the Hudson Valley FIRST Lego League tournaments, held each winter.

Anne's hobbies include installing Linux distributions to various devices and attending Squidwrench hackerspace.
